Poem: My Fallen Star

Forget Lucifer, that damned thing
Alexandria, young and flawless
She is the sun you know
And she too is created lawless

Down she falls from one of man’s
Tall towers. I run to see but she
Stands there looking up at me
Talks about our Father’s plans

A dog is bound to man’s trash
Seems like I’m bound to crash
Soon I’m nothing but a wingless
Bird. And she is only nothingness
